Over in Malaysia, employers were seen as the most factor in preventing women from achieving equality with men by not helping women to manage work and care duties. Ending all discrimination against women and girls is not just a fundamental human right, it is vital for a prosperous future.
Think back to the most common traditional jobs for women. Do teachers, fashion designers, and nurses come to your mind? And think also what are the most common jobs for men. Is it lawyers, engineers, and architects? However, the world is undeniably evolving. And as we progress, traditional occupations and expectations within the workforce are changing, too.
Nowadays, women have established their rightful place within the workforce as valuable employees. They have their own skills and abilities to do what they want to be. Look at Chef Wan or the real name is Redzuawan Bin Ismail, the famous male chef in Malaysia. He can be a chef even though the jobs are usually done by females. He also has his own restaurants in Malaysia.
How about the female army? As we know, many women have joined the army because of their interests. In addition, the salary is also the same for both genders. It provides equal pay for work for women and men. That is what we called gender equality. Man can do female jobs and vice versa. So, it has proven that WE ARE EQUAL!
